Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Landalog website and web applications.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which we group under “cookies” in this policy.

2. What we use

The marketing website (landalog.co.za) currently sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The web applications use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and remember interface preferences:

  • Authentication tokens (session/local storage) — keep you signed in to the dashboard, portal or console; cleared on sign-out;
  • Interface preferences (local storage) — remembered settings such as list filters;
  • Error monitoring (where enabled) — pseudonymous identifiers that group error reports from the same session.

3. Analytics

If we introduce product analytics or marketing analytics that use non-essential cookies, we will update this policy, present a consent banner where required, and honour your choice before setting them.

4. Third parties

Strictly necessary services we use (such as error monitoring) may set their own identifiers as described above. We do not permit third parties to set advertising cookies through our sites.

5. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent the web applications from keeping you signed in.
